DLP TV  You've got to love Mitsubishi for continuing to produce beautiful rear projection big screen televisions using proven Texas Instruments' DLP technology, even though they are now calling them Home Theater TVs. If you want the BIGGEST possible TV screen size for your buck (and you don't require a flat panel HDTV so you can wall mount it!), you'll be happy to know that Mitsubishi has introduced two new 82 iNCH DLP HDTVs each priced under five grand - their 837 and 737 Series! For those with a smaller room or budget, Mitsubishi is also still offering all the same higher-end features in smaller screen sizes: 73 iNCH, 65 iNCH, and 60 iNCH.

While they last, you can still buy select new and refurbished Samsung DLP televisions in 72 iNCH and 56 iNCH diagonal screen sizes online from Tiger Direct and Refurb Depot.

The only drawback to purchasing a DLP rear projection TV versus a flat panel LCD or plasma display is that you'll need to replace the internal projection lamp after every few thousand hours of television usage.
